200 Hour Teacher Training
Do you have a desire to empower others, educate yourself and your students and show up more authentically in life?

Join Chris Morehead, Amanda Oakley, Lynn Hill & other Yoga Story instructors for our 2026 Yoga Teacher Training! Our 200 hour yoga teacher training is registered with Yoga Alliance. Students who complete all required hours, graduation requirements and obtain a certification through Yoga Story are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200 hour RYT. ​​​

Fridays will be approximately 5 pm until 9 pm. Saturdays all day from 8 am until 4 pm. Sundays most of the day from 8 am until 1 pm.
COST
$3200 for the training with a $500 non refundable deposit due upon being accepted into the training. Students that pay in full before July 1, 2026 get a discounted price of $3000. Payment plans are available! With your tuition payment, students will receive 20 hours of free yoga classes to attend during the dates of training.​​​

This is a vinyasa style yoga teacher training that includes:
- Teaching Methodology (how to teach & sequence a yoga class)
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Asana breakdown
- Pranayama
- Hands on assists
- Different modalities of yoga
- In depth dive into the history and philosophy of yoga
- Ethics of being a yoga teacher
- Business and professional development
- Teach to graduate format

FAQs
Q: Do I need to attend all sessions?
A: Yes, all sessions should be attended in person. If you have extenuating circumstances or an emergency, please let us know in advance as we can video the lecture for you.

Q: Am I guaranteed a job?
A: No. While many graduates go on to teach at our studio and at other locations, we do not guarantee a teaching job due to several factors like availability of the teacher and the style/format.

Q: Can I pay in installments?
A: Yes, we can work with you to establish a payment plan. We prefer that payments are completed by the 50% mark in training but can be flexible. All payment plans must be paid in full before the end of training or a certificate will not be issued.

Q: What happens if I drop out?
A: You will need to return all materials first. If you decide not to continue with training past the half way mark, no refunds are due. Your deposit is non refundable. If it before the half way point, a prorated portion of any tuition paid will be refunded. Your deposit is still non refundable.
