TEACHING
METHODOLOGY

Our curriculum is well-rounded, offering a scope of information that will guide you on your path to becoming a teacher, or to advance your individual practice. We utilize Light on Yoga by B.K.S Iyengar, as well as the strengths of our teachers to lead the various modules of asana, pranayama, subtle body and meditation.  Our signature style is vinyasa, but you will experience several different styles of yoga.

ANATOMY
& PHYSIOLOGY

Discover your presence and connection to teaching through working the physical body. In addition to asana and pranayama, we dive deep into Anatomy & Physiology, biomechanics of movement and hands-on assisting.  Our program utilizes the books Breath by James Nestor, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff and The Anatomy of Movement by Blandine Calais-Germain.

You will learn yoga looks different in every body, and safe ways to modify it for different populations. Our training also covers athletes, beginners, information on kids yoga and prenatal yoga.

Philosophy
History
ETHICS PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT

Keeping with the traditional origins of yoga, we study the philosophy of yoga with Yama’s and Niyamas by Deborah Adele and The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali by Sri Swamni Satchidananda.  We dive deep into the ancient text The Bhagavad Gita, and other historical teachings of this sacred practice.  Our experienced staff and guest speakers will share their knowledge of business ethics and professional development.
